My first ever Criss Cross Card

Hi everyone,

Hope your week isn't going too badly so far, almost half way through now.

Well this card is a rarity for me for a few reasons, firstly it is my first attempt at a Criss Cross card, there was not a single Copic used...it just feels wrong LOL and not a digital element, stamp or paper in sight and i have used traditional Valentines colours and image. I am pretty happy with the way it turned out and i hope you like it.

I made up my card using the papers from my collection and decided that i would make the band removable, plus this way you can reposition the image so if you want to make the message on the removable panel secret you can do or you can move the image down slightly so you can see the top. I took pictures of all three pieces so you could see in a little more detail.

Forever Friends Card

Hi all,

well this is my final card and final post for the week end. I am entering in this card to the Creative Inspirations blog challenge and their theme is Celebration. This is a non traditional Christmas card in Black and Pink. The paper is something i got free in a magazine a while ago and have just got around to using it.

Patterned papers are some that i got free in a magazine a while ago but have just got around to using.

The card stock is from Kmart

The Forever Friends stamp i believe i got via Do Crafts

The dies are both by spellbinders

I coloured the image using C0, RV34, E95, E21 COPICS and Sakura Black Aqualip and Rose Star Gelly Roll

The bling (yes i confess i got a little carried away with the gems) are all by Kaiser Craft i think

Another Christmas card

Hi All,

Well i came up with several cards on the retreat that could be submitted into the challenges so i am entering again, hope that is ok? Isn't that always the way, one week you cannot even come up with one idea and then another time you come up with several that you cannot choose between.
