Male Card

Hi All,

I dont know about you but i always struggle with Male cards, i have had this Kenny K image for quite some time now and this is the first time i have used it. I have tried to keep the card itself fairly simple as the image really is such fun and being a male card i didnt want to overload it with embellishments.

Papers: These are a British set i think i purchased from Do Crafts stockists ( i have had it for some time and not gotten around to using it)

Oh how i love Hannah Lynn Images - Love Yellow it is so cheerful and summary

Hi All,

Back with my second post of the day. All of you will know that my love of Hannah Lynn images borders on obsessional but i just love them. They are fun and funky and a dream to colour, i like that you can colour them in a variety of different ways depending on the look you are going for. I also love the colour scheme of Yellow, Grey and Black that i have used on this card and i am really pleased with the way she turned out. Which for me is a big thing because i often find i am my own worst critic when it comes to my card making.

Patterned Paper: Shiny Bright by Kaisercraft (i think its quite new so grab it whilst you can, there are soooooo many gorgeous papers in the range)

Seem to have found my card making mojo :)

Hi All,

Hope everyone has had a great weekend. I have been quite successful (at least i think so ha ha) and made a few cards that i would like to share with you over my next few posts.

The first surprising thing about this card is it isn't a square, thought i would try going with rectangular for a change and really pleased with how she turned out.

Paper & Card Stock, Ribbon and gems all from my ever growing stash :)

Sassy Studio Designs - Fun Card

Good Evening everyone,

Hope you all had or are having a great weekend. Cannot believe mine is almost over already, blink and its over.

For this card i wanted to keep things a little simple but still have a fun and classy card. This digi i purchased from Sassy studio Designs instantly came to mind, she is a lot of fun. Although i must confess i am not 100% happy with my colouring on this one but i know i still need a lot of practice. Speaking of colouring with Copics i am looking into doing one of the classes at Kit and Clowder as i have read a few peoples blogs that have done one and their colouring is awesome...definitely have colouring envy :)

I decided to go with a more traditional colour scheme of Black, White and Red, i really think it is a colour combo that you simply cannot go wrong with.

I keep looking at this card and whilst i am very happy with it, i cant help thinking it just needs a little more. Because i cannot place what it needs i have left it as is as i figure it is better than trying to add more to it and ruining it entirely, does anyone else experience this?

For this card i used

Paper, Cardstock, Ribbon and gems all from Stash.
Embossing Folder - Couture Creations

Colouring - My trusty Copics

I would be honoured to enter my card in the following challenges:

Halloween Hannah Lynn - Can't decide if i am early for next Halloween or terribly late for the last one

Hi Everyone,

Well after three cards using the same patterned papers i felt it was time i changed it up. I went with a Halloween Theme this time, i actually can't remember the last time i made a Halloween card so it seemed the obvious choice.

Anyone that has been following me for a wee while will know that i utterly adore Hannah Lynn images, they are funky and a joy to colour. This is a new Hannah Lynn i had purchased and i thought i would go with the traditional Purple, Orange and Green colour scheme for my card.

For this card i used:

Image - Hannah Lynn (Purchased at Crafts & Me)
Papers & card stock - All from my stash
Flowers - Kaiser Craft
Gems, Charm and Twine from Stash
Copics - 100, G28, YR09, B14, BV08, W7, C2, E50

I would very much like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Thanks for taking the time to stop and look, it is always nice reading your comments and feedback.

Have a great week end everyone

I just love these patterned papers and i wanted to use them to make as many cards as possible

Hi Everyone,

I hope Monday treated you well, at least it is now closer to the weekend than it was :)

As you may have gathered from my last two posts, i am absolutely in love with these blue and white patterned papers by Fabscraps, now i do have a scrap bits box but i know what i am like, the pile just gets bigger and i forget whats in there so they rarely get used. So i used this as motivation to try and use up as much of the patterned papers as possible. I also brought a whole load of digital images over the weekend and it just seemed rude not to use them :)

I also wanted to try something a little different with my layout so please feel free to leave any comments or suggestions, i tend to get in my comfort zone and then everything kind of becomes the same...i guess you don't know until you play around and try.

For this card i used:

Image - Saturated Canary
Patterned Papers - All by Fabscraps
Dies - Spellbinders
Pearls - From stash
Colouring - Copics (same colours as my last two posts but the addition of B21 for her beautiful eyes)
Card Stock - Bazzill

I would very much like to submit my card in the following challenges:

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking the time to read my ramblings.

Have a fab week

Seriously where does the time go?

Hi All,

I really cannot believe how long it has been since i last posted on my blog, i guess time just has a habit of getting away from you sometimes.

I went into my local craft store and despite the fact i was going to be strict with myself in that i only needed card stock, i absolutely fell in love with the patterned papers i have used in this card. So much for being strict with myself :)

There is just something so timeless about a combination of white and blue. I also went on a bit of a spending spree on new digital stamps this weekend also and the i absolutely adore the one i have used. I think i will get a fair amount of use out of her.

For this card i used:

Image: Simply B Stamps

Die Cuts - Spellbinders
Flowers - Kaisercraft
Sentiment - Sassy Studio Designs
Ribbon, Buckle and gems were all from my stash
Colouring - Copics B39, C1, C5, C7, C9, E50, E57 + Marine Star Gelly Roll
