Colouring hair practice (another excuse to colour another Hannah Lynn)

Hi Everyone,

Thankfully that's the end of an extremely long week sigh....the weekend is here so things are definitely looking up!

Well i am not entering this card into any challenges, it was mainly just to get some practice colouring hair and the card kind of happened. I am experimenting with different colour combinations for hair at the moment and my apologies but you will find they are all differing shades of brown, not very adventurous am i?

Let me know your thoughts

Card from stock
Paper xtra gems
White ribbon, which i coloured in with Copic B23 and made the bow
Papers are from Do Crafts
Hannah Lynn Image, i expect you will see a lot more of her, she is gorgeous and really is a joy to colour, even if you have absolutely no patience like me LOL
Copics
Hair  E35 AND E29
Skin -E50 AND E51, i used a little R20 on her cheek but doesn't show up very well in the photo
Rose  B21 AND B23
EYE  B24
LIPS  R20, but sadly doesn't show up very well
I then used my Gelly Roll Clear star pen over the rose and dome

I am entering this in Make It Monday

Well i am off to try and get creative and see what else i can come up with.....watch this space LOL

Thanks as always
Jox

  1. You did a great job! I, too, am still learning how to color. It's amazing how it actually takes lots of practice & study.

Btw, I found you on MIM.

I invite you to join me at http://tuesdayalchemy.blogspot.com for this week's challenge - Vintage (Or At Least Looks It)

  5. Hi Jo - ooh I love these Hannah images - that's what caught my eye on MIM! Your colouring of the hair on all the different images is fabulous! Colouring hair with ProMarkers/Copics is the one thing I'm constantly practicing - it drives me nuts and hehe I want to pull my hair out when I get frustrated! Such a gorgeous card hugs Karen x
