Embossing foil - well my attempt at least

Well i wanted to try something different and i came across a free kit from one of the hundreds of crafting magazines i buy. It contained purple foil which i then embossed using my Cuttlebug. I has a really nice affect (pain to photograph) and i am very happy with the way it turned out.

I was wanting some suggestions for my next few cards, i would like to get out of my comfort zone and try a few different things as i am beginning to find my cards are just variations on the same theme.

So please feel free to offer any suggestions on colour, layout, style of card etc

Not the most girly girl but thought i would try pink and white

Now this one i must confess i am still just not sure about, i guess it didn't quite match up to the image in my head but considering it is not my usual colours i think it came out ok. I think sometimes i over think my cards or try to force the ideas and this is bad!

I must confess that this card came out so much better than i expected and i am very happy with it. I have a tendancy to be extremely critical with myself and my cards so its rare for me to feel this happy :)

Todays Cards - Please let me know what you think

I really like the CAS style of cards but a couple of my cards just seem to be lacking something. It is hard to get that simple but striking balance as they either look over done or missing something. Like anything i guess it it one of those things that you just have to practice!

This is more along my normal style and although i am happy with the outcome there does seem to be something lacking that i just cannot be my finger on!

Ok - with this one i tried to veer away from my normal colour schemes

This one i created using a free DoCrafts CD i got on a magazine, i have been trying my hand at the digital side of things but still have a lot to earn!

Been away so long

Unfortunately i have not had time or ability to blog for a while so sadly this blog has been lacking, however i hope to remedy this from now on. I will be adding some of my recent cards, must confess i have tried to try a few things outside of my comfort zone and must confess i am not entirely sure on the outcome...i will let you decide!
